Chilli Fagara

Chilli Fagara, a Sichuan restaurant located in Hong Kong's Soho district, had been in operation for over a decade when Katherine Amara PR was appointed as the brand's communications agency. The restaurant had enjoyed Michelin Guide recognition between 2009 and 2014, but as the mid-market dining scene grew in Hong Kong, Chilli Fagara was forgotten by the city's media and the Michelin accolades fell away.

Katherine Amara PR took over communications for Chilli Fagara in 2019. Chilli Fagara re-entered the Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2020 shortly thereafter. 

In early 2020, Katherine Amara PR worked with Chilli Fagara to create a delivery only brand - HOT 'N' MEEN. The tongue-in-cheek cloud kitchen name plays on Chilli Fagara's Sichuan roots and the Cantonese word for noodle (meen). The delivery brand enabled Chilli Fagara to maximise their kitchen capacity and ride out difficult times created by both the Hong Kong protests and Covid-19 preventative social distancing measures.
