Amara Communications was appointed to launch the revolutionary sparkling tea brand, Saicho, to Hong Kong's media and KOLs in 2021. 

Saicho sets a new trend with its prestigious cold-brewed sparkling teas that speak the language of wine, offering an elevated way to enjoy non-alcoholic drinking and dining experiences with its Champagne-like teas that promote as much nuance, flavour and provenance as premium wines. Perfect for pairing dinners, aperitifs or any celebration, Saicho is the creation of Hong Kong native Natalie and her partner Charlie Winkworth-Smith, who first established the luxurious effervescent tea brand in the United Kingdom. Now, Saicho enriches the food and beverage scene in Hong Kong with its exquisite teas available at the city's most renowned five-star hotels, fine dining restaurants, private members' clubs and esteemed grocery and liquor stores.

The relationship kicked off with the development of a comprehensive on- to offline PR and branding strategy to generate anticipation and excitement around the arrival of Saicho in Hong Kong across all platforms. Amara Communications successfully positioned Saicho as a pioneering premium beverage brand that caters to the city's growing crowds that are seeking to drink less whilst introducing the founders as well as the production process and high-quality ingredients of the sparkling teas.

During the launch phase, Amara Communications achieved a media impression of 215 million and a social media impression of over 8.5 million through traditional press releases, pitching, professional KOL engagement and product seeding, tastings as well as exclusive interview arrangements.
